UPDATE: It is actually snowing now.  And it’s sticking.  I took pictures for you.  It rarely ever knows in Atlanta, and when it does, it’s like 3 flurries and no sticking.

Chico wants to tell you someting

Snow hasn’t even hit the ground and Atlanta is already canceling flights.  Roomie went to the airport last night in hopes of getting on a plane. Her flight for this afternoon was already canceled.  Ridiculous.  And they keep saying “wintery mix.”  This means that it’s cold enough to sleet or snow, but they don’t know which so they have to use a term that makes them sounds knowledgeable.

In other news, I slept on my shoulder wrong on Monday night and this shit still hurts.  Like, bad.  I don’t want to go to the Chiropractor and spend a lot of money to have them massage it out and then adjust me and then I will have to go back for forever.  I used to work for a Chiropractor and I bet I could ask her to adjust me for free, but I don’t want to be that person.  Like, the person asking me to knit something for her for free.  Maybe we can barter in trade. Hmmm….Same thing with the doctor.  Spend money for him to tell me I have a cold (O, I’m sick too) and he can’t do anything.  And, that he won’t give me any muscle relaxers for my shoulder.  Even though I only want like 5.  I probably only need 2 or so, but 5 just in case.  ‘sigh’

I hate being sick and staying home from work.  Of course I like staying home, but when I’m sick it’s really boring. Especially if I’m too sick to knit.  Like yesterday.  But, I took some medicine and persisted through.  And, I am teaching myself Entrelac.

Here is a pic of what I have so far:

It's a knitting flag

And, entrelac isn’t as intense as it seems.  The first row was tough, but now I’m wondering where it’s been all my life.

Oh, also, if anyone in the Atlanta area would like to participate in the World Wide Knit in Public Day with me, please let me know.  I think this will be fun, but knitting in public by myself will be just like every other day.  And, I might be able to promise cookies if you come.  So, let me know.
