It’s baaaaack! I forgot how much I loved sharing these and I’m on break right now so I’m delusional and think I’ll have tons of time to look up stuff on the interwebz and for blogging after break is over.

I freaking love a good gnome. And these are adorable. I have one in my yard, but he fell over and was rained on and he kind of looks like a nightmare now. But I still love ’em.

This ring and I are made to be together. For reals, ya’ll.

I would love to have one of these, but I believe it involves keeping a plant alive, and I just can’t do that. I’ve tried, but I know it will die. Maybe just to prove a point, but it will!

Have you seen this? Dashing is an online only magazine that is just amazing. If you like Bust, you’ll love this, too. I have fallen in love with it. And you can download some kind of iPad app (I don’t know because I don’t have one) to read it like that. And I think you can print it out if you’re now down with reading it on the screen.

Jessica Singh is an amazing illustrator. Check out her website. It’s amazing. FIN.

So, the dreaded studio week is next week!  Ahhhhh! I don’t see any time I’ve referred to it in the past, so I can’t link to it :(  It’s the insane time before critique where there are no classes and we’re expected (it’s an unspoken expectation) to stay up and at school for a week and make our projects incredible.  It’s pretty much one of the most stressful things ever.  Unlike last quarter, I haven’t broken down in tears about school once!  I think my mom is even believing I’m not emotionally unstable again (if I were her, I would’ve thought I’m emotionally unstable after seeing me last quarter, too).  Woot!

Without further ado, here are the best things this week!!

A whole book in one poster? Awesomeness.

I love me some Color Me Katie. She organized all of her items into color piles.  Isn’t that awesome?!

This makes me want a fish.  Just so I can have the bowl, not for the fish.

Chico needs this.

Haha.  After one of my classes yesterday, I am totally onto the sentiment.

Drooling.

It’s that time of the week again, Friday!!!!  Which, doesn’t feel like it for me because I have to work tomorrow, but I can still participate a little in the celebration (as long as I get to bed at a reasonable time).  Here is the best stuff this week:

I love this picture!  I’m partial to glitter and glitter eye liner.

{source}

Have you seen The Burning House? It’s amazing. Pictures of what people would take in the case of a fire. I love that Clara chose gum.  Something I would probably do.

Photoshoot beautifully styled by my Atlanta friend and fellow blogger, Lar.  She’s so talented!

This club is amazing!!!

Have a great weekend!

This was a good week, although it was hot.  Very hot.  Like, over 100 hot in the lovely ATL.  Even though the week was a good one, I have been complain-y.  About the weather, the drive from my parrents’ house to everything else in my life, how fat I feel (I’m not looking for sympathy, just sayin’ I feel fat), what I have to do this weekend, the weather.  Then, I hung out with some friends last night and they were talking about gratitude and being grateful for their lives and what they have and all of that good stuff.  So, this coming week (starting today) I’m going to work for “An Attitude of Gratitude.”  It’s going to be great :)

This lovely tutorial by Katrina.  She’s awesome.  And so is this knowledge.

Um….this is awesome.  My mom knew about it, how did I not know?!  I have the eye makeup primer and it works like a miracle, so I imagine this is the same.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Here’s the list!!  I’ve collected some great stuff this week.  I love Fridays so I can share these wonderful finds.

This is awesome.  I kind of like how she stares at the camera…after I get over the awkwardness.  And they do a great job covering this song.

This is just great

Have a wonderful weekend!

After posting this yesterday about dying from boredom, I read Miss Mal’s blog post about 10 things that bring her joy and decided this is a good thing for me to participate in.

So here are

  1. Chico (duh)
  2. Working hard at something I love
  3. My knitting designs
  4. My paintings
  5. My eyes
  6. When I feel good about the way I look and give myself a break and stop telling myself I’m fat.  I’m getting better at accepting what I see in the mirror and this is a small miracle.
  7. My wonderful lady friends
  8. My new job (not the actual job, but the fact that I’m making some money)
  9. My computer
  10. How much work I’ve done on myself in the past 2 years to grow into the best me I can be
:)
What are your 10 things?  Tell me in the comments or link to your own blog post

This week was busy while also being a little boring.  I know I should be enjoying my break from school, but I get so bored.  Thankfully, I have a gaggle of amazing friends around that make sure I’m entertained and busy.  They rock.  We did tons of stuff this week, so, I guess it wasn’t that boring after all.

I love this notebook.  I need one :)

{source}

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

{source}

I love this.  I pretty much love the whole shop.  But this bracelet especially is wonderful.

{source}

This is so cute!  I was to build a fort.  I haven’t done that in forever.  Remember how magical they were as kids?

{source}

Love these drawings.  They’re awesome!

 Have a great Friday and a wonderful 4th!

So.  First week of break has come to a close.  I gotta tell you guys, I’m totally over it.  Break, that is.  It’s boring.  I really, really hate to be bored.  I don’t have any definite things to do.  Makes a girl feel a little depressed.  I have been knitting up a storm and working on some homework (yes, my department head gave me homework…hrumph).  It’s funny, all quarter long I can’t wait until break and now that it’s here I can’t wait until it’s over.  The grass is always greener.

First up this week, this amazing video (don’t worry, it’s a 3D [kind of] cartoon thingy, not an interview) focusing on the last 50 years of Amnesty International.  It’s very moving.  And pretty short.  If you miss out on it…I don’t know.  Something bad.  Like, bad karma.

These amazing tattoos (there is a whole photo album if you click the source link).  Even though they like a little like a bear mauling.

{source}

OMG, this artist!!

{source}

Hahahahahahahahahahaha

{source}

I actually don’t drink, but I think I need this anyway.  It looks like it doesn’t open bottles very effectively anyway.

{source}

I love this, it’s awesome.

{source}

I want this.  Next time I have a room that is actually mine, I might just put this up.

{source}

They look like candy!!

Have a great weekend and a great Friday!!

So, you’ve been reading about my crazy week for the last 3 or so posts.  So, let’s just get to the awesomeness.

I don’t know if you know this about me, but I absolutely love Sailor Moon and anything to do with Sailor Moon.  When I was in 10th grade, if you messed with me getting my Sailor fill at 4 o’clock, God help you.

{source}

I want every bathing suit on this website, but this one is my absolute fav.  Isn’t it hot?

{source}

Breathtaking.

{source}

This is so funny and cute!

This app is super fun and you can make cool and pretty images.  Not to mention, great time waster.

{source}

I need this.  It’s so beautiful and amazing.  One day, I’m going to be a metal smith.  One day.

{source}

Such lovely work, so inspiring.

{source}

Just go here to see lions hugging a dude.  In a not mauling way. It’s really awesome.

Have a great weekend, loves!

As the title suggests, I had a nice Best Stuff This Week all ready to go with amazing selections I found while surfing the interwebs this week (I’m not sure when I was doing this, probably in some exhaustion coma I don’t remember).  Then my friend showed me Gregory Crewdson‘s unbelievable photography and I dropped everything (which says a whole lot during this insane week) and scanned through some of his images on Google.  Enjoy!

This first one is soooo amazing!  I love it!

He seems to love to photograph underwear.

{source}

And people in front of mirrors in their underwear.

{source}

And I also love these things.  But not in a creepy way and maybe not together the way he love them.

{source}

They’re like creepy Thomas Kinkade paintings, but not mall-ey.

{source}

There’s soooooo many beautiful and hauntingly wonderful pictures I want to share, but it could seriously go on for like 100 or more pictures.

Happy Friday!
